The 'Where Do They Live? Forest of the Imagination' event at Bath Spa University will take place on 2026-08-08. It is a family event featuring various performers.
"The pine cone is already a house… we need to build a bigger house around it." - Amber, age 6 Together, you will gently explore the relationship between people and the natural world. Through looking, listening, imagining, and making, this workshop encourages us to notice how we share our planetary home with other living beings. Become explorers, investigating Newton Park's land and ecosystems. You'll think about the creatures (real or imaginary) that might live there e.g. trees, newts, bats, birds… Through observing, learning, and gathering materials, we will re-create homes for a chosen creature to mirror, honour, protect, and celebrate them. Everyone's invited, families and individuals aged 0 - 100. With artists Morgane Shaban, Holly leVar and Matthew Leece from the Forest of Imagination. Drop in any time. Free - all welcome.
