Join local author Marianne McShane for storytelling and creative writing/story boarding sessions. Every Monday from 13 July until Monday 17 August. in the large bell tent/story zone. About Marianne Marianne McShane is an Irish author and storyteller from County Down known for her captivating tales that draw from the rich tapestry of Irish legend and folklore. Her debut picture book, Rónán and the Mermaid, was named a Best Book of 2020 by The Arts Council of N. Ireland. McShane's storytelling is deeply rooted in her Irish heritage, and she has been a beloved figure in the Irish literary community. Her work is not only a source of joy for children but also a bridge to the enchanting world of Irish folklore.
