<p>After a cracking first night, Stand Up At Sir returns to Sir Devonshire Square for a second evening of properly curated comedy from Nice N' Spiky.<br /><br />Topping the bill is Charlie Baker, the award-winning comedian, actor, broadcaster and acclaimed jazz singer whose infectious blend of comedy, music and storytelling has seen The Guardian hail him as "a superior take on the modern showman".<br /><br />Joining him is Michelle Shaughnessy, the Toronto-born, London-based comic whose debut album hit number one on the iTunes comedy charts, with TV and writing credits including CBC's Still Standing - and a Katherine Ryan seal of approval ("Hilarious! The ideal night out").<br /><br />Also on the bill is Blank Peng the incognito bilingual stand-up comic who began performing in Mandarin before switching to English after moving to the UK. In just a year, she became the first female winner of the Top Secret Comedy Gong and has since been a finalist for Leicester New Comedian of the Year and runner-up in the West End New Act competition.<br /><br />Your host for the evening is Ali Woods - Hackney Empire New Act of the Year winner, star of Comedy Central Live and ITV's The Stand Up Sketch Show, and the man behind the viral sketches with millions of views across TikTok and Instagram.<br /><br /><br /><br />Stand Up at Sir is a brand-new comedy night bringing bold stand-up, sharp wit, and after-dark energy to the heart of the City.
