Come and take part in the painting of two new murals around Carter Bridge (The Cycle Bridge) in Cambridge. No experience necessary.

Two murals have been developed by Art Streets in collaboration with the community to reflect the diversity and stories of the Mill Road area. The project has been comissioned by Cambridge City Council and overseen by the Creative Partnerships team within Cultural Services. Lead Artist ATMA and the project team have worked with locals to inspire the murals and now the people of Cambridge have the opportunity to support the painting of them.

All ages are welcome to attend the painting sessions. With guidance and support from our team you will be able to contribute to the delivery of new street art in the city.

No experience is necesary and we would love to see you, soaking up the rays and the vibes and contributing your brush stokes to these two projects.

Children under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by one adult per 2 children. Please note this is not a workshop, but we will show you what to do.

We will be using water based masonry paint which is non-toxic.

Please wear painting clothes, hats and sun protection in the event of extreemly hot weather.

Both walls are accessible by wheelchair users, and if anyone would like to bring a camping chair, some painting can be done seated.
