About This Event

The Curious AI Café is a welcoming space for women to explore AI, ask questions, build confidence, and learn together. ☕ We're brewing something new at M-prez Enterprise... Introducing The Curious AI Café. A welcoming space for women across Derby and Nottingham to explore AI together, whatever your starting point. Whether you've never used AI before, have experimented a little, or simply want a friendly space to learn alongside other women, you're warmly invited. No experience needed. No technical background required. No jargon. No judgement. Just bring your laptop, your phone, your questions, and your curiosity. To help us understand what works best for women in our community, we're starting with two identical sessions. Choose the one that works best for you. 📅 Thursday 23 July 🕕 6:00pm to 7:30pm or 📅 Wednesday 29 July 🕚 11:00am to 12:30pm 📍 Potters House Church 2-3 St Peter's Churchyard Derby DE1 1NN These sessions are designed to be practical, relaxed, and welcoming. Bring a real task from your own life if you'd like. It could be writing an email, improving your CV, getting ideas for your business, planning a project, or simply understanding what AI is and how it works. Children are welcome if childcare would otherwise prevent you from attending. Parents and carers remain responsible for supervising their children throughout the session. A huge thank you to Potters House Church for generously providing the space for these first sessions and helping us bring this idea to life. Our hope is to keep The Curious AI Café free and accessible for all women. As the community grows, we'll be looking for funding and local support to help make that possible. If we're unable to secure ongoing funding, we may introduce a small contribution to cover essential running costs and keep the Café going. The kettle's on. Come as you are. Bring your curiosity.
