Attention young violinists, violists, cellists and double bassists! Meet lots of other young string players for a morning of string playing in large groups, musical games activities, and a performance to friends and family at the end. We will be running two string orchestras: • Primo - beginner to grade one so for any players within the range of being able to pluck open strings to being comfortable playing in G major (violins and violas happy to play with low second fingers). • Secondo - Grade 2 - 4 so for players who can play in most keys and are happy with some position changing. The morning starts with registration at 0845 and ends with a performance to families 1315-1345. Cost for the morning is £25 per child. Some bursaries are available on request.
