About This Event

The Wee Walk-in Shortbread Workshop teaches participants how to make classic Scottish Shortbread Petticoat Tails. The workshop is held at the Edinburgh Food & Drink Academy.

Learn to make classic Scottish Shortbread Petticoat Tails this summer. Whether you’re new to the city and the delicious treat, or a local looking for the perfect recipe, this quick 90 minute class is a wonderful addition to your Edinburgh itinerary. Make and bake your own batch of traditional Scottish Shortbread Petticoat Tails from scratch. This short (wee) workshop offers a concise & authentic introduction to Scotland’s most iconic bake. Whilst your bakes are in the oven, enjoy a demonstration & tasting of another Shortbread style served with tea & coffee. Your hand crafted Petticoat Tails are then packaged to take home. Booking in advance is advised where possible as walk in is first come, first serve.
