Little Hands, Big Thanks! takes place at the Byres Road Community Hub. Participants will create friendship bracelets and thank you cards for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity volunteers.
We will create thoughtful thank you cards and friendship bracelets to show our appreciation for the incredible volunteers at Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity. It's a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about giving back, spread kindness, and make a real difference with small acts of gratitude. After getting creative, we'll enjoy a tasty nut-free snack together before finishing the session with a cosy story time. Whether you're joining us for the crafts, the chance to meet other local families, or to help brighten someone's day, we'd love to see you there. What families will do: • Make thoughtful thank you cards for hospital charity volunteers • Create colourful friendship bracelets • Learn about the importance of giving back • Enjoy a nut-free snack together • Relax with a cosy story time The volunteering impact: The thank you cards and friendship bracelets your child creates will be given to volunteers at Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity – a small but powerful way to say thank you for their incredible work. These handmade gifts remind volunteers that their efforts are seen and appreciated, and they help spread kindness throughout the hospital community. No experience needed – just creativity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to spread kindness. All craft materials will be provided. Age suitability: Suggested for children aged 4 and over for friendship bracelet making (adults to supervise their children). Children under 4 are welcome to make the thank you cards. Babies in prams or buggies are very welcome.
