The opening round of The Comedy Roast Tournament’s heats begins on 9 August 2026 at Blackstock Market in Liverpool at 17:00. The event features 32 preliminary battles across eight weeks, with four battles held each Sunday.
The tournament kicks off May 24th with the opening round consisting of 32 battles spread out over 8 weeks.
Every Sunday will see 4 preliminary battles, where the winners are decided by two resident roast masters and when necessary, the audience acting as a tie-breaking vote!
Winners. Move ahead and the losers are eliminated as every week brings us closer to the grand final in September, and a £1000 cash prize and trophy.
