A World Elsewhere
About This Event
About A World Elsewhere A World Elsewhere plays this summer in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and follows Cass, a boy with a heart full of stories, as he escapes into the world of his imagination. Inspired by his Grandma’s love of Shakespeare, he and his band of imaginary friends have already faced heroes, villains, monsters and shipwrecks. When the adventures begin to lose their spark and a strange darkness creeps in, Cass’s elsewhere-world starts to change. The story asks what has to happen next, turning the journey into something that becomes, as the company describes it, “a whole other story”. The Olivier-nominated team behind Rough Magic and Midsummer Mechanicals return with a celebration of storytelling, with music, laughter, friendship and imagination at its centre. Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes. Before you book All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and cannot be sat separately. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
