About Cyrano de Bergerac

Cyrano de Bergerac is Edmond Rostand’s timeless classic about poet, soldier and philosopher Cyrano, a man of brilliance with words and sword, but also of doubts about his own appearance. When Roxane falls for another man, handsome but hopeless with words Christian turns to Cyrano for help.

Following a sold-out, critically acclaimed run with the Royal Shakespeare Company, this production transfers to the West End for a strictly limited season. Reviews describe it as “playful, poignant, profound” (Financial Times), “enchanting” (The Times) and “hilariously funny and ultimately heartbreaking” (Mail on Sunday). It is directed by Simon Evans and co-adapted with Debris Stevenson.
