About Love's Labours Lost 26

Love's Labours Lost 26 brings Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost to the stage in a flamenco-inspired production. Set in Navarre, the story follows four women on a diplomatic mission as the King and his lords are tested by love, desire and wit.

In her Globe Theatre directing debut, Associate Artist Indiana Lown-Collins draws on her rural Spanish roots to shape the comedy with warmth, rhythm and the feeling of flamenco. The production places joy and revelry alongside longing, grief and melancholy.

Rarely staged, this version presents Love’s Labour’s Lost as a raw, human comedy about connection and unresolved love.
