Alex Weston Alex Weston is a London-based selector, vocalist and lifelong music enthusiast whose approach to DJing is driven by curiosity, discovery and a deep appreciation for great records. As one half of Brain Rot, a party and radio collective known for its eclectic musical outlook and residency on SWING DASH, Alex has built a reputation for thoughtful, wide-ranging sets that move fluidly between genres and eras. While he has a particular affinity for Japanese City Pop, his selections draw from a much broader palette, connecting soul, disco, house and lesser-known musical treasures through a shared sense of groove and musicality. Away from the DJ booth, Alex performs with The Ashatones and the London Contemporary Voices Choir, bringing a musician's ear and understanding to his selections. His work within the wider music industry, including his role with AlphaTheta EMEA, keeps him closely connected to contemporary DJ culture while his passion remains firmly rooted in the simple joy of sharing great music.
