About The Gruffalo

The Gruffalo at Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1D 7ES is Tall Stories’ musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. It follows Mouse on a stroll through the deep dark wood, where encounters with Fox, Owl and Snake lead to a search for the terrifying Gruffalo.

The show returns by popular demand and is celebrating its 25th anniversary. It is presented with songs, laughs and mischievous fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups, from Tall Stories, whose imaginative storytelling theatre is built around the idea that everything is possible.

Reviews quoted by the production include four stars from The Sunday Times, five stars from The Scotsman and four stars from Whats on Stage.

Key facts: Duration 60 mins. Suitable for ages 3+. Wednesday 22 July at 10:30am is a relaxed performance.
