About This Event

The Scottish Borders Walking Festival (SBWF) makes its return on Saturday, 5 September 2026, featuring a 12-mile walk from Carter Bar to Jedburgh. Commencing at 10am from Jed Thistle RFC in Peterborough, the route involves a 950-foot ascent and is expected to take roughly seven hours. Participants will navigate a demanding path through the border landscape, with a service bus transporting walkers to the start point; the bus fare is not included in the ticket price. The walk is led by experienced guides and is suitable for those with a good level of fitness. Tickets are priced at £7.00.
