Take part in the South Coast's largest and longest-running matched play Warcry tournament across four action-packed games!

Welcome to Storm in the South III, one of the UK's largest annual Age of Sigmar Warcry tournaments. Now in our third year, we're proud to bring you the South Coast's premier Warcry tournament, bigger and better than ever before. Bring your fiercest and mightiest warband, and compete over four matched play mission rounds to prove that your warband is the mightiest on the South Coast!

Whether you're a seasoned veteran or brand new to the game, there's something for everyone at this event, with awards up for grabs for sportsmanship and best warband, as well as overall standings.

The tournament will be organised and run on Wartally, tournament software specifically designed for the purpose of coordinating Warcry events. Players must submit their lists to Wartally no later than 11:59PM on Thursday 6th August.

Lists:

Players must pick their warbands in accordance with the rules laid out in page 60 of the Warcry Core Rulebook (2022).

For this tournament, Allies, Monsters and Thralls are permitted.

Divine Blessings are permitted but must be clearly declared in players' list compositions and may not be changed between games.

Battle Traits will also be in use in this tournament. Players are requested to clearly state which battle trait their warband will be using in their list composition.

Warbands must be clearly divided into Dagger, Shield and Hammer groups. These may not be changed between battle rounds.

Painting and Modelling:

Models must resemble the unit they are supposed to represent in a way that makes logical sense (A grot can't represent a gargant, no matter the base size!) and be on the correct base size for that model. Proxies are permitted, but please check in advance by emailing us if you choose to do so so that we can check beforehand.

Warbands must be fully based and painted to a basic tabletop standard.

Organization and Prizes:

The tournament will consist of four rounds, each lasting 1 hour 15 minutes with a 15-minute break between each game. Lunch will be 1 hour 15.

There will be prizes for first, second and third place overall with additional prizes for 'Most Sporting' and a first, second and third for 'Best Warband' as well.

All attendees are expected to behave in a gracious and sporting manner, and to uphold high standards of sportmanship at all times.

There is ample free parking right next to the venue as well as cafes and shops for lunch and snacks. Totton train station is also a 5-10 minute walk away. Tea and coffee will be provided on the day.
