About this Event

Enjoy a taster session in our rafted canoes with our team of professionally qualified instructors.

All the equipment is provided, so all you need to do is book in on this free session and turn up on the day.

This is a family-oriented taster session using rafted canoes which provide a stable platform for a first experience of canoeing on the beautiful Trent and Mersey Canal. An amazing opportunity to see our waterways from a different perspective, and try out a fun family activity.

All under 18's must be accompanied by a responsible adult who will remain on site throughout the event.

Minimum age of 4 years.

P lease note: There is limited onsite parking.

All participants should be counted irrespective of age (i.e. family of 4 need 4 spaces and 4 tickets)

Please come dressed for the weather. You may need a waterproof or a sun hat and suntan cream. Sensible footwear will be required.

The Canal & River Trust’s Let’s Activity campaign is free to attend as part of our work as a waterways and wellbeing charity to help everyone get out, get active and make their lives better by water by learning to paddle.
