Join this highly acclaimed, award-winning Stratford Town Walk (established 2002) for an entertaining 2hr guided walk through the charming streets of Stratford upon Avon.
Discover Stratford’s rich history & fascinating relationship with William Shakespeare as you explore its enchanting iconic landmarks and hidden gems. See Shakespeare’s Birthplace, New Place, Hall’s Croft, Harvard House, the Royal Shakespeare Theatres, river Avon, a range of architectural delights, Guild Chapel, Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and more. Immerse yourself in Stratford’s history through fire, flood & plague, with a smattering of old fashioned sayings, medieval medical cures and a little Shakespeare.
Whether you’re a local or visitor this guided walk offers a unique way to turn your visit into an experience with lasting memories.
The walk starts every day at 11am from the Swan Fountain on Waterside, near the RST and opposite Sheep Street. Look out for the guide standing by a lamppost with a small yellow sign saying Stratford Town Walk meeting place. The duration is up to 2hrs.
Additional walk times: Saturday at 2pm. Christmas Day a little earlier at 10.30am

All walks are accessible. Dogs are welcome.
