About This Event

St Mary’s Parish Church in Stourbridge will host a candlelit tribute to ABBA on Friday 31 July, performed by a live ensemble beneath the soft glow of hundreds of candles. The setlist draws from the Swedish group’s catalogue of disco-pop hits, ranging from the soaring harmonies of The Winner Takes It All to the dance-floor energy of Dancing Queen. The church’s stone walls and high ceilings lend the music a resonant, intimate acoustic, while the candlelight shifts the atmosphere from concert hall to quiet reverence. Tickets are priced at £20, with a portion of proceeds donated to a monthly charity. Doors open at 7pm for a 7pm start.
