About This Event

Four pairs of soulmates meet in the Forest of Arden. One pair leap straight into bed. Another pair are dumbstruck by each other’s beauty. The third pair torment each other. The fourth pair go further still, playfully blurring their roles and identities to such an extent that flirting becomes more pain than pleasure, and Love itself is pushed to the limit of endurance – and beyond. International award-winning Illyria has an unmatched reputation for excellence, forged over three decades, that dominates the outdoor touring theatre sector. Join them this summer for a memorable night of laughter and romance under the stars. Illyria supports the Equity union's Charter for Outdoor Theatre. Please bring your own folding chairs and picnic blankets as seating is not provided. Our tearoom will be open for take-away refreshments. Tickets are non refundable. No tickets needed for 3’s and under. Only assistance dogs are permitted at the performance. The shows go on whatever the weather (unless fork lightning). Running time (approx): 140-minutes (inc 20 minute interval)
