About York Dungeon Standard Admission

York Dungeon Standard Admission takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darker history at York Dungeon. The experience brings the city’s past to life through live actors, immersive sets and special effects as you move from one scene to the next.

Along the way, you’ll encounter the Vikings and their Saxon enemies, meet notorious historical figures including Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington, and come face to face with stories linked to the Black Death and a torture chamber. The experience is designed to make you laugh, learn and scream your way through York’s “orrible history’.
