Aberdeen Employability Group - Quiz Night

In support of Aberdeen Cyrenians

We would like to invite you of our first fundraising Quiz & Networking night, and in this, we're looking to raise funds and awareness of Aberdeen Cyernians.

Aberdeen Cyrenians is a wonderful local charity, providing practical support to people facing homelessness, poverty, and social isolation, helping build stronger communities across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

And as part our aim to promote positive recruitment across North-East Scotland, and bring people from across Employability together, we're hosting our inagurual quiz to do both.

Everyone loves a quiz, and ours will be hosted by John Sim, People Experience Manager at BrewDog. You can expect questions that'll test your knowledge of Aberdeen & Shire and have all of the usual main categories that will get your thinking caps on and bring out the inner Chaser in you!

Hosted at the McNasty's in the centre of Aberdeen, tickets are £20 for teams of a maximum of 4 (payable on the night), with all proceeds going directly to support Aberdeen Cyrenians.

Tickets are limited to a maximum of 25 teams.

We're aiming to raise at least £500 for this wonderful charity, which can pays for a day to run one of their vital services offering life-saving support. If we can make the slightest bit of difference to support people in our part of the world, we will be delighted!

Any extra monetory donations along with donations for their food bank are also welcomed on the night.

We'll hear from the team at Aberdeen Cyrenians about the impact they have on people in the North-East and as always, there will be some time for networking with fellow Employability folks.

Food is being provided for free from McNasty's and you can purchase your own drinks at the bar!

This is event is open to anyone that is works within hiring, careers and wider employability, only.

Aberdeen Employability Group aims to bring Employability Professionals together from across the North-East of Scotland to learn from each other, share best practice and recognise the contribution we make to the careers of others & to the success of employers - and we want to partner with local businesses & organisations that support the people & communities of our wee region.

While a relaxed & fun quiz, this will always be a chance for people working within Recruitment & Careers to build their skills, grow their network and develop their careers.
