Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team 2026

Come join us for the Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team 2026 event! Get ready for a day filled with adventure and excitement as we wander around the lovely hill of Bennachie in Aberdeenshire. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking to enjoy the great outdoors, this event is perfect for everyone!

Event Options:

There are a number of activties you take part in to help raise funds for the team. Unfortunatley there will be no run this year.

There is the Short Walk, this is a fairly gentle walk around Millstone hill with a distance of x 8km - £5 Emtry

There is the Long Walk and this is more chalemgeing and will pass close to the summit of Bennachie itself. The distance for this is circa x 23km - £10 Entry

There is a also a Ranger Led walk which which is circa 2Km and will concentrate on the flower and fauna to be found around Bennacie

Event Update:

The Bus details have been agreed and we wil be running a Shuttle Bus from Andersons Furniture Store,Highclare Business Park on the morning of 12th Sept the First bus will set off for the Event from here at 09:30. There is ample parking for lots of cars and we would you suggest you use this facility as there is very limted parking at the Bennachie Centre

Shuttle Busses wil run as and when required betwenn the two locaions and the last Bus from the Event to Inverurie will be 17:00
