ACA August Beach Clean

Join us for the ACA August Beach Clean and help make our local beach sparkle again. It's an awesome in-person event where we roll up our sleeves, collect trash and enjoy some fresh sea breeze together. Whether you're a regular or new to beach cleanups, everyone's welcome to pitch in and have some fun while protecting our planet. Don’t miss out - let’s keep the beach beautiful!

To thank volunteers for their efforts, Barbos Sauna have offered 9 of us a sauna session after the July beach clean at 13:30. If you want to take part, please book the ticket accordingly - a beach clean + sauna ticket on top of your normal ticket. Spaces for the sauna are limited, so please only book if you know you can make it!

SCHEDULE

10:30 – Welcome & safety briefing: Please arrive on time so we can brief everyone, explain how the event works, and hand out equipment.

10:45 – Beach clean: We'll spread out in pairs or small groups to collect litter along the beach and nearby paths.

12:00 – Wrap-up & social time ☕ We'll meet back at the start point to return equipment, tally up what we've found, and take a group photo.

13:30 – Sauna session for those who have booked it.

EQUIPMENT: Tongs, gloves, and bin bags will be provided – feel free to bring your own if you have it.
