Join us to celebrate the launch of Dee Lawlor's new book Scotsferatu.

We are delighted to welcome back Dee Lawlor to Waterstones Aberdeen to celebrate the launch of her new book Scotsferatu, which examines the connections between the vampire myth and Scotland. Scotland has a surprising, yet rich, history surrounding the creatures; Aberdeenshire in particular can boast a connection to perhaps the most famous vampire of all, with Slain’s Castle in Cove Bay allegedly serving Bram Stoker as inspiration for Dracula’s Castle! So come join us for a spooky (and informative!) evening as we explore this unique side of Scottish history and folklore.

This event will consist of a short reading, an interview and a Q&A section with subsequent signing. Please note this event is ticketed.
