3rd November – Breakfast & Blether

Some breakfast and a blether about parenting. A relaxed, safe space to chat, share experiences and pick up ideas that might help parenting feel that little bit easier and more connected.

17th November – Routines, Rules & Boundaries

Breakfast and a light parenting focus on routines, rules and boundaries – including ideas like visual timetables. We all know how hard these can be to keep going alongside busy everyday life! We’ll share practical ideas, including things other parents have found helpful and approaches that have had positive real-life feedback.

1st December – Feelings & Confidence

A focus on feelings and building confidence. When our children are struggling, their confidence can often take a knock too. We’ll chat about simple ways we can help children understand their feelings, recognise their strengths and build themselves back up.

15th December – A Little Christmas Self-Care

Breakfast before the Christmas break. We’ll have a relaxed chat about self-care and simple ways to boost those happy hormones during the colder, darker and often very busy festive period. A chance to think about looking after ourselves too – because that can easily end up at the bottom of the list!

This activity is delivered by CLD Family Learning as part of Aberdeen City Council.

This group will run 9.15am -11am at Cornhill Community Centre on the Tuesday 3rd November, 17th November, 1st December, 15th December.
