Inclusive softball cricket festival for Aberdeen City & Aberdeenshire school pupils- Come along and enjoy a taste of cricket

Arrival Time: 10:00am

Festival Start Time: 10:30am (Activity stations 10:30 till 11:30) (Short break – 11:30 till 11:45) (Facilitated non-competitive matches – 11:45 till 12:45)

Festival End Time: 13:00pm

What will our participants be doing?: Participants will get a taste of softball Cricket participating in Activity Stations for the first hour (Trying fielding, batting and bowling) prior to a short break, then participating in games with other schools from around Aberdeen City and Shire! The matches are Non-Competitive and will serve as a fun introduction to the sport.

How many participants can I bring?: There really is no minimum or maximum. A good group size would be around 8 players, however, we want to encourage as many schools as possible to attend so we if you have more or less than this number we can 100% accommodate! If you have only 1 or 2 participants but would still like to attend please still get signed up, as long as it is appropriate for your pupils, we can find another group for them to join so nobody misses out!

Similarly if you have more than 8 attending we can divide you into two groups so everyone is more active all of the time!

What if we have not tried Cricket before: No experience necessary. Coaches and staff will facilitate the activity, teach the participants and help everyone enjoy the sport, staff are adaptable and trained in inclusive practise so will be happy to adapt all activity to ensure everyone experiences success!
