Heart for the Hurting is a monthly bereavement support group offering a safe, welcoming space for anyone living with grief or loss. Hosted by Open Door Baptist Church and shaped by a Christian understanding of hope and healing, the group welcomes all who are seeking support through bereavement.

Each session includes content from the GriefShare video curriculum, providing practical guidance, encouragement, and understanding for the journey through grief. Attendees will also have the opportunity, if they wish, to share their own experiences, listen to others, and connect with people who understand the challenges of loss. There is no pressure to speak, and everyone is welcome to participate at their own pace.

Refreshments will be available, including tea, coffee, cake, and a selection of free-from options. Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, you are warmly invited to join us for support, friendship, and hope.
