A fun class, suitable for all levels of experience, and an opportunity to use up small fabric scraps to make a crazy little stuffed bird.

Simple running stitch is used to stitch the assorted fabric pieces together to make the body and wings. (A sewing machine can be used too although it is a bit fiddly) The birds are then turned and stuffed. The body and wings are decorated - with stitch, lace, beads, sequins, feathers ... whatever you fancy!! Beads for eyes and buttons to hold on the wings are added. Finally wire legs are covered and fashioned before inserting into the birdie to send him on his way.
