Join us at this open studio event for some spooky themed crafting fun, clothes swap, tarot reading, building tour and so much more!

We are ready to welcome you to our spooky studio open day! ✨

Activities include:

Paint your own ceramic altar with Addison from Creative Bloc (11am - 2pm only), tour the studio and hear all about 6 Albyn and what it holds, have your Tarot read with Lexy, join our clothes swap (bring one, take one) just in time to create your Halloween outfit or pick up some more pieces for your Autumn fit. There will be some hand crafted trinkets made by our group members available for sale on the day and spooky themed colouring in to relax with.

Tickets for tarot readings are limited so make sure to book early and email to secure your preferred time slot!

Your reader for the day is Lex (they/she) offering a choice of decks from, The Queer Tarot, to the Crowley Thoth deck. Lex has been reading the tarot for over a decade and works with the tarot as a practical tool for self reflection - helping us see what we might be unable to reason out by ourselves. Lex's readings are lighthearted and informative.

The ceramic painting activity will only run from 11am - 2pm so please ensure you arrive in time to complete your piece.

The candle holder altars have all been handmade in the Creative Bloc studio, ready for you to to decorate with your own personalised design. There will be samples on hand for inspiration along with some stencils and helpful hints to get your creativity flowing. Once you have finished, your piece will be glazed and fired to make a durable unique item and returned to you at a time to be arranged.

As it's almost Halloween weekend, dress-up is welcome! We want this space to be fun and welcoming for everyone, please no costumes that appropriate other cultures or mock marginalised identities.
