Grab the binoculars and come out with us to see and learn about some of the fascinating bird species we find around Greyhope Bay.

Did you know over 200 species of birds have been recorded around Greyhope Bay? From the regulars we see year round (like herring gulls, eider ducks, and goldfinches), to seasonal summer visitors (such as razorbills and gannets), we'll help you learn about some of the fascinating bird species you can find in this part of Torry.

As part of the Torry Summer BioBlitz, we will record our sightings and submit these records to the local biodiversity database (NESBReC). This means what you see will contribute to citizen science projects and monitoring local wildlife.

Please note:

Participants are asked to wear sturdy, enclosed footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.

If you have a pair of binoculars, please bring them with you - if not, we have some you can borrow.
