About This Event

The Women’s Breathwork, Pelvic Connection & Embodiment Workshop will take place at St Peter's Heritage Centre in Aberdeen on 10 October 2026. This practical workshop focuses on exploring breath, movement, and pelvic awareness to help participants reconnect with their bodies. Tickets are priced at £25.00.

A practical, experiential workshop exploring breath, movement and pelvic awareness as ways to reconnect with sensation, ease and your body.

“I still feel lighter and more at ease weeks later.”

“I attended feeling anxious, dissociated, and deep in grief. I left feeling lighter, calm, and more peaceful. I was super present.”

“I felt safe enough to feel what I really felt.”

“If people knew the size of my workload, they’d be shocked by how relaxed I am.”

Feedback from our last embodiment workshop in August.

You can be highly functional and still feel disconnected from yourself.

You can be capable and self-aware. You can understand your patterns. You can have done the therapy, read the books and listened to the podcasts.

And still struggle to actually feel what you know - and act on it.

You know you need nourishment, but you keep pushing.

You know you need to speak up, but the words disappear when the moment comes.

You know what your patterns are, but understanding them hasn't automatically changed your behaviour.

That gap between intellectually knowing something and being able to live it through your body is where embodiment begins.

Embodiment is about practising change rather than only understanding it: noticing what happens inside you, learning to stay connected to yourself through sensation and emotion, and gradually making it easier to respond differently instead of automatically falling back into old patterns.

In this workshop, we'll explore that through one area of the body many women have never been taught how to consciously connect with: the pelvis.

Why the pelvis?

Many of us spend enormous amounts of time developing our minds and very little time consciously connecting with our pelvis.

Yet this part of the body is involved in breathing, movement, stability, pressure management and sexual function - and can carry enormous personal meaning around womanhood, pleasure, periods, birth, pain, shame and body image.

For some women, it's an area we barely notice at all.

Pelvic connection gives us a physical place to practise some much bigger skills:

Feeling.

Can I notice sensation without immediately analysing it?

Letting go.

Can I recognise where I'm holding unnecessary tension and experiment with softening?

Receiving.

Can I allow something to feel good without needing to earn it, perform or immediately give something back?

Staying.

Can I remain connected to myself when sensation or emotion becomes stronger?

This isn't about getting any of those things “right.”

It's about becoming curious about the relationship you already have with your body.

What will we actually do?

We'll begin with practical instruction so you understand what we're exploring before you're asked to experience it.

We'll explore 360° breathing, basic pelvic-floor awareness and the relationship between breath, tension, relaxation and movement.

Then we'll move away from thinking so much.

Through guided breathwork, mindfulness, music and intuitive movement, you'll have space to explore sensation and practise staying connected to your body without needing to perform for anybody else.

We'll finish with time to integrate the experience and notice what you've learned about yourself.

You don't need any previous experience with breathwork, meditation, embodiment or pelvic-floor practice.

“Pelvic connection” sounds intimate. What will I actually be asked to do?

So important. This is not a sexuality workshop. It is not a self-pleasure workshop. There is no intimate touch and you will not be asked to remove clothing.

You will not be expected to disclose personal experiences to the group.

You will not be pushed to access difficult memories, produce an emotional breakthrough or be more vulnerable than feels right for you.

Some of this work can feel unfamiliar simply because many of us have never deliberately paid attention to this part of our bodies before.

So we'll approach it with curiosity rather than performance.

You're allowed to adapt something.

You're allowed to stop or sit something out.

You're allowed to discover that something doesn't feel right for you.

There is no gold star for going deeper.

The aim is not to override your body's signals in the name of “healing.”

Listening to them is the practice.

This workshop might be for you if...

You spend a lot of time in your head and would love to feel more connected to your body.

You understand yourself intellectually but still struggle to change familiar patterns.

You find relaxing surprisingly difficult - even when you've technically stopped working.

You struggle to receive attention, support, pleasure or rest without guilt.

You're curious about embodiment but aren't entirely sure what it actually means in practice.

You'd like to develop greater awareness of your pelvis, breath and internal sensations.

You sometimes feel disconnected, numb, tense or like you're moving through life on autopilot.

Or perhaps nothing is particularly “wrong.”

You simply want a nourishing afternoon to explore your
