Strokestown Agricultural & Industrial Show returns to County Roscommon for its 158th year, bringing one of the region’s longest-running agricultural shows back to Strokestown on Saturday 12 September 2026.

The annual show brings together farming, livestock, horses, traditional skills, crafts, food, horticulture and family entertainment for a packed day celebrating rural life in County Roscommon.

With competitions and displays covering everything from pedigree cattle and sheep to horses, ponies, donkeys, arts and crafts, photography, flowers, home industries and vintage exhibits, there is plenty to see throughout the day.

Admission is currently listed as free. No advance visitor registration requirement is listed.

Parking is available for visitors, with a shuttle service to the show grounds also listed for the event. Visitors travelling by car should allow extra time around Strokestown as the area can become busy during the show.
