To celebrate the annual International Ayr Show Festival of Flight, South Ayrshire Council are hosting an Aerospace Careers Event.

DYW Ayrshire are delighted to support the Aerospace Careers Event taking place from 5-7pm on Tuesday 8th September and Wednesday 9th September 2026 in Prestwick Airport

The event is open to young people from S3 to S6, as well as parents, carers and educators, offering a unique opportunity to learn about careers in aerospace and aviation, meet industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into pathways into the sector.

This event will take place in the Aviator Suite in Prestwick Airport.

Free Parking is available within Car Park 4 KA9 2QF (5-minute walk to terminal. No validation is required and barriers will be open.

Car Park’s 1 & 2 (by the terminal) are chargeable in line with the airport's standard parking tariffs.

Accessible Parking is still available within Car Park’s 1 & 2 at no charge however the blue badge holder must validate their free parking with their blue badge at the customer information desk.
