Step back in time and enjoy a day of Victorian fun to celebrate 150 years of the R&ER carrying passengers.

To celebrate the exact date of the 150th anniversary of the first passengers to travel on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway back in 1876, we’re inviting you to join us for a fun-filled Victorian themed day at the Ravenglass Railway Museum. Travel back in time and break out your best Victorian outfits when you hop on board for a day of fun for all ages.

Your exclusive ticket also guarantees you a seat on a train reserved just for you – our Victorian guests.

This is a special event with all ticket proceeds going to support the Ravenglass Railway Museum (Registered Charity No 1217185). Your donations enable us to engage with audiences of all ages and tell the story of the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway and its surrounding industry and communities for generations to come.

Tickets will be issued from the Ravenglass Railway Museum upon proof of your EventBrite booking.

Please note that places on the train are limited. Advanced booking is essential. This special event ticket is valid only for this advertised Special Event Train. Travel on any other services on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway is not permitted with this ticket.

Donations are non-refundable.

Please note that dogs are not permitted inside the museum, but are welcome on the train and in the railway's cafes and shops.

- maintenance and materials costs associated with looking after our engines and other rolling stock,

- buying stationery and craft materials to help us to engage with families and education groups,
