Flippin’ Pain is an awareness campaign, working with the NHS, Barrow Rising and Mind in Furness. We share this latest (often surprising) science of pain with people across the UK.
We want to invite you to Pain: Do you GET it?, a talk all about the science of pain and what helps to manage it.
Our expert team will guide you through:
Why some of what we think about pain is wrong,
How pain really works
How learning about YOUR pain can help you manage it better.
You'll also get chance to ask your questions to our panel.
Getting to know the real science has shown to have game-changing results. It can change how we think about persistent pain, what we do about it, and even how it feels.
This could be your first step on the way to recovery, whateverrecovery looks like for you.
