This event is designed for straight singles looking to make genuine romantic connections.

🍸 Welcome Drink

On arrival, you'll receive a drinks token that can be redeemed against your first drink at the bar. Rather than including a complimentary drink, the token gives you a discounted first drink, making it easy to grab a drink and settle into the evening before the presentations begin.

Forget awkward speed dating and endless swiping—this is dating with personality!

Our Featured Singles are introduced by another single attendee in the same age group who knows them best. Instead of selling yourself, your presenter will tell everyone why you're such a catch, sharing funny stories, green flags and everything that makes you unique.

Expect plenty of laughs, surprising revelations and a room full of people already knowing a little about each other before conversations even begin. The best part? By the time the mingling begins, you'll already know people's names, personalities and what they're looking for—making those first conversations feel effortless.

How it Works

Choose how you'd like to take part!

Everyone attending this event must be single. You can either book a Featured Single ticket, where another single attendee will create and deliver a fun presentation all about you, or choose a Mingling ticket if you'd simply like to enjoy the presentations and meet other singles throughout the evening. You're also welcome to book a Mingling ticket while presenting a Featured Single.

You and a single friend can each book a Featured Single ticket and present one another, or one of you can be a Featured Single while the other attends on a Mingling ticket and presents them.

Featured Single tickets require another single attendee to present you. Please coordinate with your presenter and book your tickets together, as Featured Single spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

With a strict capacity of just 40 singles, once tickets are gone, they're gone!

Each presentation should last 3–5 minutes. Please practise beforehand and keep to the time limit—if you run over, we'll have to gently cut you off to keep the evening running smoothly!

Presentations should be submitted as either a PowerPoint (.pptx) or Google Slides presentation.

Your presentation must be emailed to us no later than 48 hours before the event so we can review everything and prepare the running order.

The presentation order will be revealed on the night, and presenters will be called up by name—so be prepared, you could be first!

A handheld microphone will be provided for each presenter.

If your original presenter is no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. You're welcome to arrange for another single attendee of the same gender and age range to present you instead.

Following the presentations, the rest of the evening is dedicated to relaxed mingling and getting to know one another.

Suggested Presentation Structure

To help you create a fun, engaging presentation, we recommend including the following:

1. Introduction

A catchy title

A great photo of your friend

Their basic details (age, location and occupation)

2. Why Date Them?

Their best qualities

Funny stories or memorable moments

Hidden talents

What makes them such a great partner

3. Buyer Beware!

No one's perfect! Share a few harmless quirks, funny habits or amusing obsessions. Keep it light-hearted and affectionate—nothing embarrassing or offensive.

4. Their Ideal Match

What they're looking for in a partner

Shared interests or values

Any genuine dealbreakers

5. Call to Action

Finish by encouraging interested singles to chat to them during the mingling afterwards. If you'd like, you can also include a QR code linking to their Instagram or another way to connect.

Get Creative!

This is your chance to show everyone why your friend is such a catch, so don't be afraid to have fun with it!

Include photos, funny stories, favourite hobbies, hidden talents, relationship green flags, what they're looking for in a partner—or anything else that captures their personality. Whether your presentation is heartfelt, hilarious or somewhere in between, we want to see your creativity shine.
