Festive Potluck Picnic at Bath Abbey Learning Centre celebrating Women Who Built Bath, our year, and announcing our new grant making theme

Join members of Bath Women's Fund for a potluck picnic at The Bath Abbey Learning Centre to celebrate our giving in 2026, learn about the Women Who Built Bath, and announce our new grant-making theme for 2027.

We are delighted that Jane Duffus will be joining us to talk about her new book, The Women Who Built Bath (https://www.janeduffus.com/the-women-who-built-bath-series), which celebrates 200 incredible women from Bath’s history. As Jane says, "These women come from all walks of life and all parts of the city, spanning laundresses and workhouse inmates to theatre revolutionaries and city councillors. Every woman featured in these pages has made her mark on this city and deserves her moment in the sun."

We will also reflecting on the Bath Women's Fund year and celebrate giving and learning together in 2026.

Please bring a bottle or a plate of whatever you would like to share - savoury or sweet, but you are welcome to bring your own food if you prefer not to eat from shared dishes.

Members will have the opportunity to cast final votes and we will announce the theme for the grant-making programme for Bath Women's Fund in 2027. If you're interested in joining Bath Women's Fund to be part of choosing the new theme and the full grant-making process, please visit our website (https://www.bathwomensfund.org.uk/)

We look forward to welcoming you all!
