Bath Women’s Fund is a community of local women who want to make a difference. BANES WLN is a diverse, inclusive and cross-sector network.

Come and join us for a Sunday walk around the beautiful city of Bath to discover the history of girls and women in the local area.

This is an event for the Bath and North East Somerset Women's Leadership Network in collaboration with our friends at the Bath Women's Fund.

From the Bath Women's Fund:

Join us on a Sunday to find out more about amazing women through Bath's history who lived or worked in the city in our 'Women and Girls of Bath' Treasure Hunt.

This builds on our previous linear walks (starting at The Holburne and Fairfield House) with lots of new stories and places.

Meet/ park at The Holburne - Emma and Isobel willl guide us on a circular route of approx 5k so we will end back where we started.

We will keep developing the resource so all suggestions welcome of other women, girls and places to include.

We want to create a safe, supportive and dynamic space for women leaders to network, to learn from and to support one another.

We welcome you to join us if:

you identify as a woman

you are an existing or an aspiring leader

you are based in BANES (or you are from out of region and are prepared to travel to Bath for events)

you can just be starting your career or you can be a veteran with wisdom to share

you are a #HeForShe ally

We are keen to connect with other women leadership networks in the region as we work collaboratively, not competitively, to create a community space that serves us all.

We would love the network to be as diverse and as inclusive as possible so we will endeavour to ensure that our events are accessible to all - let us know if you have any specific needs for us to consider in our planning.

quarterly dinners with leadership speakers

coffee mornings with guest facilitators

an annual event for IWD

We are now launching our collaboration with the Bath Women's Fund by supporting their walks to amplify the women and girls of Bath.

Our Schedule:

Sunday 18th October 2026 9.30-12.00pm

Our Timings:

We will meet at 9.30am to walk around the city on a guided tour until 12.00pm

Optional extension to find somewhere for a coffee at the end.

We will meet at The Holburne to start the walking tour.

We will finish our tour at The Holburne.

Our Ticket Price:

£10+VAT as a contribution to the Bath Women's Fund.

All funds raised from the walk go to a local charity supporting women and girls.
