We're getting ready for the planting of a community orchard and clearing some space for biodiversity

Come help care for a special place - a new community nature reserve on the edge of Bath. Come for an hour or come for the whole session.

We'll be focusing on getting ready for the planting of a community orchard in Great Park (the top field accessed via the kissing gate on Charlcombe Way) and habitat improvements in Mudcombe (the lower field above the brook).

Please bring gloves and wear ppropriate footwear.

Tools, including billhooks, loppers and mattocks will be provided or feel free to bring your own - and training given, no experience is necessary.

We'll be meeting at the toolshed in Great Park https: //what3words.com/deeply.risky.fairly (https://https: //what3words.com/deeply.risky.fairly) and there will be an opportunity to buy apple juice made from local apples to help raise funds towards the community orchard. There is some local street parking available, but try to come via public transport, bike or by foot.
