About This Event

The launch of Innovation@Bath will be celebrated on 2 December 2026 at Newark Works, discussing future innovations along Bath’s riverside.

Celebrate the launch of Innovation@Bath and hear what’s next for innovation along Bath’s riverside.

Innovation@Bath brings together two of Bath’s established business networks: the University of Bath’s Business@Breakfast and SETsquared’s First Thursday. It’s one community now, and it meets at Newark Works in Bath Quays.

Whether you joined us last time or this is your first Innovation@Bath, come along to meet people working on new ideas in the city and find your next useful connection.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bath already has what most cities are chasing. World-class research, ambitious companies, a steady flow of talent, and a place people choose to live and work. The question now is how those pieces connect, and what that could mean for businesses of every size.

Work is now under way to bring those strengths together along the riverside, so that businesses, researchers, investors and students can work side by side.

Our panel brings together leaders from business, the built environment, new ventures and tech to explore what Bath needs to thrive over the next decade:

Talent: how the city keeps and attracts the people businesses need

Space: where growing companies will work, meet and make things

Connections: what happens when businesses, researchers and investors work side by side

Opportunity: what’s already under way along the riverside, and where your business fits in

Then the floor is yours. Stay for drinks, nibbles, and networking meet the panel and the people developing the plans, and tell us what would make Bath a better place to grow your business.

Whether you run a start-up, lead an established firm, invest, research, or simply care about the city’s economy, this is the room to be in.
