About: Feeding Your Demons® is a guided contemplative practice developed by Lama Tsultrim Allione, drawing on the Tibetan Buddhist tradition of Chöd. Rather than fighting difficult emotions or inner conflicts, the practice invites us to meet them with curiosity, compassion and care. Through guided visualisation, reflection and paired practice, participants learn a five-step process that can help transform the way they relate to difficult feelings, self-criticism and other inner obstacles. The day will include an introduction to the origins and context of the practice, teaching on the complete five-step process, a demonstration, guided practice, supported pair work, and time for questions and reflection. No previous experience is necessary. The workshop is therapeutic and led in a trauma-informed way, but it is not therapy or crisis support. Benefits: Learn the complete five-step Feeding Your Demons® practice. Explore a compassionate way of relating to difficult feelings and inner conflict. Discover what difficult parts of ourselves may need, rather than trying to fight or suppress them. Experience guided practice in a supportive and trauma-informed setting. Learn a contemplative process that you can continue to explore after the workshop. Suitable for: Adults interested in meditation, contemplative practice, Buddhism, personal development or exploring a different relationship with difficult emotions and inner conflict. Beginners are very welcome. Workshops are for people who feel steady enough to do inner work in a group. If you are struggling or unsure whether this is the right time for you, you are very welcome to contact Elizabeth for a chat before booking. What to bring / wear: Wear comfortable clothing suitable for sitting and gentle movement. Please bring a notebook, pen and water bottle, as well as a couple of cushions to sit on if you can. There are shops and cafés nearby, but you may prefer to bring your own lunch. Cost: £90 / £45 concessionary places. Payment in advance by bank transfer. To book please email elizabeth@imaginaltherapy.co.uk Additional Information: Vajralila is an experienced Feeding Your Demons® teacher and psychotherapist. She trained with Lama Tsultrim Allione in the UK and at Tara Mandala in Colorado, and has many years’ experience of teaching the practice through day workshops and longer programmes. Her approach is grounded in psychological integration, compassion and non-dual wisdom. Elizabeth Dunn is a Feeding Your Demons® Certified Facilitator and Workshop Leader, counsellor and consultant. She brings over twenty years’ experience of supporting personal growth and psychological wellbeing, integrating contemplative practice with a trauma-informed approach. Elizabeth and Vajralila will co-lead the workshop, offering teaching, demonstration, guided practice and supported pair work throughout the day.
