Looking for something fun to add to your running calendar this October?

Friends of Box School (FOBS) are hosting a 5k Trail Run and a Colour Run to raise funds for Box Primary School. Set in the beautiful Box Village, Wiltshire, this event has it all!

We will kick off with the Colour Run, an 800m loop with 4 colour stations, be prepared to get messy! This vibrant run is all about enjoyment, not speed. Whether you walk, jog, or run, you'll make your way through a course filled with colourful powder zones and some keen volunteers aiming to colour you in! This is a non-competitive event designed for all ages and abilities.

The route consists of 2 laps around the event site, with friendly volunteers and clear signage to guide you along the way. You’re welcome to complete 1 or 2 laps, it’s entirely up to you. If you're feeling energetic, go for the full challenge. If you'd rather take it easy and soak up the atmosphere, that’s perfectly fine too.

Bring your friends, bring your family, and get ready for a day filled with colour, community, and lots of fun. This is more than a run—it’s a celebration.

Once the colour fun is done, we will set off the 5k runners into the beautiful countryside of the Bybrook valley. Fully signposted and marshalled along the looped route, this 5k will provide a challenge with mixed-terrain through grassy fields and taking in the sights of the famous Box Tunnel, you may even spot an otter in the Bybrook if you are lucky!

All 5k participants will receive their chip timed result, brought to you by our friendly local timing team at raceahead, Corsham.

This is the inaugural event organised by parents of Box Primary School. It is open to everyone, not just those from the school. All profits go to enhancing the experience and wellbeing of the children at the school.

Race HQ: On the rec near the start/finish area. Open from 12pm.

Refreshments: Tea/Coffee, Cake, Hot dogs available to purchase

Parking: Given the limited parking facilities, we would recommend walking, cycling or car sharing where possible.
