Mr B’s is delighted to welcome acclaimed author Min Jin Lee to Bath to celebrate the publication of her highly anticipated new novel, American Hagwon . Min Jin Lee, the bestselling author of Pachinko - a novel so beloved by the Mr B’s booksellers that it has earned a place in the Mr B’s Hall of Fame - returns with a breathtaking contemporary epic exploring personal dreams, familial duty and the sacrifices made in pursuit of a good life. Spanning Seoul, Sydney and California, American Hagwon follows one family as they confront what truly matters and how far they are willing to go to achieve it. The novel is an ambitious and extraordinary new work from one of the most celebrated novelists of her generation.
