Mr B's Event presents a reading by author Sebastian Faulks at The Mission Theatre in Bath on 13 September 2026. The performance celebrates the launch of his new novel, Farewell to Eden, following his previous success with Birdsong. Tickets are available for purchase via the event website.

Mr B's is thrilled to welcome author Sebastian Faulks back to Bath for his new novel, Farewell to Eden. From the million-copy Sunday Times bestselling author of Birdsong, comes a sweeping and profound new novel about faith in all its forms, and a rich portrait of an embattled post-war Britain. Farewell to Eden follows the life of a soldier whose experiences in post-war Palestine threaten his future with an enigmatic music mistress. It asks the question: how, after great suffering, do we retain our humanity, learn to love again, and believe in the promise of a better life?
