Forestry England's Westonbirt, The National Arboretum is exploring the theme of maples this autumn, with an immersive trail that winds through the arboretum. Inspired by their national collection of Japanese maple cultivars, this trail invites you to explore the tree collection and the Japanese maples with a new curiosity. This brand-new trail brings together nine Japanese concepts that offer a different perspective on autumn colour. You will be encouraged to explore using all your senses. Find favourite spaces between the trees that spark joy, immerse yourself in nature and the season's colourful wonder, and discover new meaning in the changing of the seasons. This trail is in dog friendly Silk Wood. Suitable for all ages, but aimed at adults. Pick up a map from the Welcome Building for trail route.
