PPW Southwest Clinical Associate in Psychology Community of Practice (SWCAPCoP)

Join us for the 4th Southwest Clinical Associate in Psychology Community of Practice (SWCAPCoP) event, taking place as part of Psychological Professions Week.

Who can book?

This is a Southwest regional event but we are now welcoming national attendees:

Apprentice CAPs

Qualified CAPs

CAP stakeholders (Supervisors, Psychology Service Leads, NHS England colleagues, CAP trainers, experts by experience who have involvement with CAP role training)

These tickets are for the in-person event at the University of Bath (6 West Building):

The day will begin with a national CAP role update session, delivered online and available via a separate ticketed national event (https://ppn.nhs.uk/ppweek/26-programme). Attendees at Bath do not need to leave the venue, as this national online session will be streamed directly into the event room.

Following the national update, the programme moves into the Southwest in-person Community of Practice event.

What to expect

Building on the success of previous years, the afternoon will feature a series of rotating interactive workshops, showcasing innovative and inspiring examples of post-qualification CAP role development. This is an opportunity to:

Learn from qualified CAPs working in diverse settings

Explore emerging and developing CAP roles

Share ideas and experiences with colleagues across the region

Network with apprentices, qualified CAPs, supervisors and stakeholders
