About This Event

A Sensory Woodland Walks family event will take place on 25 August 2026 at the Great Oak Hall within Westonbirt, The National Arboretum in Bath. Visitors are expected to meet before exploring summer trees and using their senses along a path. Ticket pricing details must be checked on the official website.

Meet at the Great Oak Hall at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum before you venture off path amongst the summer trees and explore using your senses on this guided walk. Find your special tree, take some quiet time to listen the sounds around you, discover secret scents hidden in the leaves and bark, and build a texture sculpture. Walks are suitable for children ages 4 – 9 years. Tickets Admission price to the Arboretum: Adult £14, child 5-18 years £5. Child 0-4 years free. Prebook to avoid disappointment on the day, with £1 booking fee, please email learning.westonbirt@forestryengland.uk
