​​Show of Hands is a new independent music and arts festival taking place from 16 - 19 July 2027. It is all about jazz, performance, families, hot air ballooning, and the power of individual choice. Alongside the music, expect a vibrant mix of workshops, theatre, storytelling and hands-on experiences for all ages, from morning yoga to tap dance sessions, cabaret to carnival. Everyone who attends, including the audience, artists, and crew, gets a vote on how the festival’s future takes shape. The more they put in, the more their voice carries weight. What to expect at Show of Hands Festival 2027 This family-friendly festival brings together a music lineup featuring jazz, soul, global grooves, electronica and forward-thinking club sounds, alongside hands-on creative and wellness activities. Dates, times & locations Dates: Friday 16 July - Monday 19 July 2027 Location: Gilcombe Farm, Bruton, Somerset, BA10 0QE. Tickets and booking information Tickets are now on sale via the Show of Hands website. All weekend tickets include camping. Day tickets are also available, but these do not include camping. Once booked, you will receive a QR code in an email which you can show on arrival at the festival. Discounted Student Weekend tickets and a free ticket for carers are also available. Frequently asked questions How do I get to the festival? The nearest train station to Gilcombe Farm is Bruton Station. You can also take the 667 bus from Street or Castle Cary to Bruton. Is there car parking at the festival site? There is plenty of parking onsite. You’ll need a parking pass for each vehicle, which you can buy on the festival website. Will there be food options for different dietary needs? Food traders will cater for gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian customers. You can also bring your own food and drink into the campsite. Are children welcome? Yes! There are tons of family-friendly activities across the weekend, including workshops, and the chance to get up close to hot air balloons.
