We are getting together for a relaxed evening at the coast to watch the sun go down and take in the view of the nearby lighthouse. This is a chance for members of our community to get out of the house, enjoy some fresh air, and spend time with people who share an interest in local maritime history and coastal landmarks. We will be meeting at the designated spot just before golden hour to find a comfortable place to settle in while we watch the beacon start its evening rotation. This gathering is for anyone who enjoys a quiet, scenic walk and good conversation. You do not need to be an expert on lighthouse architecture or maritime signaling to join us; it is really just an excuse to enjoy the Belfast coastline and meet some new faces in a low-pressure environment. We recommend bringing a warm jacket and a thermos of something hot, as it can get a bit brisk once the sun dips below the horizon. If you are planning to come along, please let us know by clicking the RSVP button so we have a rough idea of how many people to look out for. We look forward to seeing you there.
